Every month
Bookkeeping
Sales, purchases and bank transactions recorded and checked each month, so you know where you stand.
Six services, and the software support behind them. Take one, or let us look after all of it.
GS Associates in Uttoxeter provides bookkeeping, VAT and Making Tax Digital, payroll and workplace pensions, Self Assessment tax returns, year-end accounts and Company Tax Returns, and company formation. Most clients take two or three; some hand over everything. Each service is quoted as a fixed fee agreed before work starts, and Gayle explains what applies to you in plain English.

Starting out
Formation, registrations and the routine that follows, explained before you commit to any of it.
Behind all of it
Xero, FreeAgent, Sage and QuickBooks: getting set up, moving records across and agreeing who does what.
How it works
You don't have to decide everything now. Tell us where you are and what's causing you trouble, and we'll say which of these would actually help. If a job needs a specialist we don't have, we'll say so and arrange an introduction rather than attempt it.

Choosing what you need
No. Most clients take two or three of these, and plenty take one. We would rather do the part you actually need well than sell you a bundle you have to grow into.
Yes, and that is how a lot of these arrangements begin. People often start with the tax return, then move the bookkeeping across once they have seen how we work. We requote when the work changes, so nothing is added to your fee quietly.
That depends on the work and the time of year. Bookkeeping or payroll can usually begin within a few weeks; January is the busiest month for tax returns, so a late Self Assessment enquiry gets an honest answer about what is realistic rather than an optimistic one.
That is the normal starting point, and working it out is our job rather than yours. Describe what is causing you trouble and we will tell you which of these would help, including when the answer is none of them yet.

That's the normal starting point. Tell us about the business and we'll explain the next step and what it would cost.
